After their win In Ozzie the superbike team for Bimota has not been the happist of teams, they have been plagued with problems and now they face another.
Shake ups in team ownership and hassles with sponsors mean that The Bimota Experiance factory team will not be at Misano this weekend. There is a possibility that there may be a rescue package to enable them to continue to be the 7th manufacturer in the Superbike series, but right at the moment it is still up in the air.
Lets hope it all come together for them, they have struggled with the bike but new ignition and radiator modifications were thought to have been the answer they were looking for. There had also been recent changes to suspension suppliers.
Super bikes need as many manufacturers as possible represented to keep the interest up and the innovations flowing. Lets hope someone picks up the sponsorship
It is unclear what how this will affect Anthony Gobert, the Australian rider. If the team stays out for the rest of the year he will be looking for another ride.
