Big names, huge air, New Zealands best bands and good times are set to roll this weekend at Xtreme Air, New Zealand\'s version of the Extreme Games.

Organiser Mark Wright is delighted to have a strong collection of the world\'s best Skaters, In-liners, BMX riders, Supercross riders and Wakeboarders making the trip down under to be a part of the festival to be held at the Hillcrest Tavern and on the Waikato River. Each sport will have 4 international riders, many of whom are currently ranked in the top ten in the world. The riders include gold and silver medalists from the Vans Triple Crown, Australian X-Games and American X-Games.

Competing with the international stars will be New Zealand\'s best freestyle extreme athletes.

The feature of Friday night is the Big air comp which features vert skates, in line and BMX riders in the half pipe situated in the Hillcrest Tavern rear car park. Spectators will be treated to some amazing riding and huge air with athletes performing 360\'s 720\'s and even 1240 degree rotations, twists, rail grabs and anything that will set the crowd alight.
