The opening round of the 2006 Australian Mr Motocross series proved to be a challenge for all the riders involved. Perth’s extremely sandy track clamed many of the top riders as victims, and in some cases, even their bikes. Unfortunately, ilabb.com_syndicate rider Nick Saunders was one of the big names to get a taste of the soil in an undesired manner.
Nick finished in a disappointing 15th place in the first race, and his result was even more disheartening in the second where he scored a DNF (did not finish). Unfortunately, bad results isn’t all Nick will be walking away from this race with, as in one of his crashes he landed hard on his shoulder and aggravated an old injury.
But with Nick’s passionate personality, this result will only make him hungrier and even more determined to get the results he has been training for and deserves.
