
MNZ Press Release:
Motorcycling New Zealand today confirmed Tony Rees of Whakatane has won the 2005 Suzuki NZ Superbike Championship.
Until today the results of the Championship were provisional due to an appeal made by Stroud after his disqualification from Race One at the third round held at Manfeild.
Rees, who has been in good form, riding for Yamaha, returned to racing this season after 18 month’s away from the sport.
