The two Kiwis campaigning the European Enduro scene had their first real hit out at the first round of the 2005 Motul British Enduro Championship (BEC) on the weekend. The event organised by Diss MCC Breckland has been reported as 'challenging' (with snow and ice about!) and because of the pressures due to the forest being used by the general public it may be the last time that particular venue is used.
The Kiwi duo aquitted themselves well - Paul Whibley (GasGas) was 5th overall and 4th in the E2 class and Chris Birch (Husqvarna) finished 10th in the E2 class. Both improving on their day one finishes.
