OK, WHO SAID TRAVELLING WAS MARVELLOUS!

Greetings from beautiful Austria!!!

We had a nice journey back here. Sorry for being so late on the updates, I couldn\'t get on at the airport because everytime I was waiting to get on in the lounge, some old fart kept cutting me off thinking he\'s ssssooooo much more superior then I am. Not to mention the selfish boneheads who sat on the lounge computers for hours at a time surfing websites. Hello, some people have to do work here? But if it makes them feel special to be on the computer longer and us \"kids\" don\'t know nothing about life, then so be it-wankers!!!!

Anyway, Jo-Burg airport was very busy, most of it were GP folk. Our flight was packed out to the fullest, an overbooked flight and we were on a 747-400. Infact, there was another flight in which the rest of the team was on and that one was full too. Busy busy busy!!!

We flew into London at about 6:45 am. When you sit in Business, they give you a fast track pass, you know where you can breeze right through the passport control. Yeah, little did they know they may have given too many of those passes out cause\' that line was longer than the regular one. Then we were one of the last ones to get our luggage. Luckily, we had 6 hours in London so we weren\'t in no hurry. Because we were so late in meeting up with John\'s cousin Mark, we ended up going to an American diner called, \"Starvin\' Marvin\'s.\" It was quite good, they had curly fries and lots of them. Our food was pretty good too, I was eating my fries and John ended up eating the rest. After that, we hopped back into the car and headed back to the airport. We grabbed all of our stuff, loaded it onto the trollies, and headed into the terminal. Now mind you, we have alot of stuff and we had to check it in.

From San Diego we didn\'t have any charges for checking in so much luggage, but we had to pay 321 pounds for the excess luggage, saying we can only take 30 kilos of luggage. Then they charged me for over wweght on my carry on. There was nothing we could do because we needed our stuff. So it amounted to about 550.00 US dollars. John and I were a little bit angry. We weren\'t mad at the agent but we paid a lot of money for the flight, and to have to pay extra charges, screw that. Those bloody bastards!!!! I\'m calling in to complain! To say the least, all of our stuff made when we arrived into Salzburg and it was the first to come out.

Frank, Maria, and Doug picked us up and it was absolutely beautiful!! Last time we came, it was all white. Now it\'s all green with flowers everywhere. The sun is shining and we get to be outside for a week. Now that I said that, it\'s probably going to rain. As I sit here writing this, I look outside the window and see ALPS and green fields. No words to describe this part of the country.
Now, I have to send the brolly pics of the weekend so in a day, they should be up on the website. There should be some random shots of the weekend too. Hope everyone checks it out.

Until then, talk to you later and we head to Jerez for round 3. This week we are going snowboarding up in the Alps, and I\'m doing a bit of blading. I do apologize for the updates often having misprinted words, I type it pretty fast and sometimes don\'t proof read it. I will do it this time though.

Take it easy,
Desiree
