Broxholme Off to Asian Supercross Champs

Tauranga’s Peter Broxholme is set to leave this week for round one of the Asian Supercross Championship at Sugo Japan, on August 12.

The 19-year-old Honda rider, who finished 2nd to World No 4 Josh Coppins at the 2001 Woodville 125cc Grand Prix is keen to take advantage of the opportunity the Supercross Series, will give him.
He has given up his job at a local winery, to concentrate on getting fit and preparing himself to do his very best for New Zealand in the Series.

Broxholme’s sees the Supercross Series as a way of putting his name in front of the overseas teams. His ultimate goal is to race in the AMA Motocross in the United States.
