Another awesome Central Hawkes Bay event.
Warm day with rain occasionally threatening but ended in bright sunlight. Riders were sent down the river twice. Mike Bennett (WRF250, Whangarei) had his first ever DNF when he broke his bike in half after hitting a tree. The last section was tight with all Experts losing time. (Not all Intermediates lost time as there was an A/B split in this section that put more pressure on the experts). Roast pork and lamb keep everyone happy until prize-giving, with a good crowd remaining.
