This venue is the longest running venue for 2013 – an old favourite with amazing camping under the huge Poplar trees providing plenty of shade for those hot summder days.
Riding is on easy going farm paddocks and farm tracks with an extra long 15 km loop for adults and better riders. The two kids tracks adjacent to the camp site can be watched from your deck chair whilst the additional 4 loops are fantastic for those with a little more skill and experience.

Saturday afternoon is always the Trig Ride. This is not compulsory but well worth the trip. We also get to see the native trees we have planted over the years. What a bonus for the land.
Chris the farmer usually has a wooly sheep to shear so we will trek the 300 metres to the woolshed for a shearing display an a feel of the nice soft wool. If you need a haircut, Chris can help out here to but don’t expect haute’ coture.
Mr Whippy may make an appearance but we never know up there. Lets hope so.
The activities at Waiotira include: Treasure Hunt, Colouring Competition, Fireworks (fire brigade permitting), Marshmallow Toasting, Running Races, the scariest of all Scary Night Walks and more. We hope to continue with the MUV rides too. Plus of course all the riding you can fit in.
You are welcome to ring push bikes to use when the tracks are closed to motorcycles and quads. Bicycles and nice and quiet so we don’t mind them after 5 pm at all. We may even make up a bike course.
Bookings for this Camp are essential as we are limiting the numbers in order to make it a fun and friendly camp. So get your registration form in asap.
