Waitawhiti Station is located at 824 Waitawhiti Road in the Tiraumea District and is half way between Eketahuna and Pongoroa. We are approximately 1 hour east of Palmerston North and approximately 1 hour north east of Masterton. The trail ride will be sign posted from BP in Pahiatua, Eketahuna and at Alfredton. |

The Waitawhiti Ride is approximately a 30km loop over great station hill country, and a shorter 10km loop the ride is suitable for all quads and dirt bikes, also a great kids track is available with parent or caregiver supervision required at all times this track is located close to the pits |

We are hosting this ride as a school fundraiser and all proceeds go to Tiraumea School. Our MNZ Permit No is 11931,helmets and sturdy boots are compulsory and no pillion passengers are allowed. The loop may be ridden as many times as you like during the day but the track will close at 4.00 pm. The charge is $25.00 includes both loops and the kids track is $10.00 Lunch is provided for all riders. We have available limited accomodation in Shearers Quarters within a 5-10 km radius of the trail ride, bookings are essential at a cost of $10.00 per night. NO DOGS ALLOWED PLEASE NO EXCEPTIONS. Come and join us for a great trail ride which has now been running for 3 years successfully, great country hospitality, good food and great company. |
